03 / The pipeline

End-to-end, with a human at every gate.

Bespoke tooling built around seven stages. Each stage has its own quality bar, its own review, and its own kill-switch. Hover or tap a stage for the methodology.

STAGE 01

Research

Every piece begins with a written brief and a primary-source reading list. Models are used to triage volume and surface contradictions — not to author the worldview. Citations are tracked from intake through the cut.

STAGE 02

Script

Drafted to a per-channel voice spec — rhythm, vocabulary, confidence level. Every line is traceable back to a source. No hedge phrases, no AI-isms, no "in this video we'll explore."

STAGE 03

Visual direction

Each video gets a written art-direction document — palette, period accuracy, framing rules, prohibited tropes. The look serves the script, not a model's default aesthetic.

STAGE 04

Generation

Bespoke generation pipelines built per channel. Reference imagery, custom training, consistent character and environment systems — every frame is generated to brief, then matched against the visual direction doc before it leaves the stage.

STAGE 05

Quality control

Two passes. Factual: every claim against the source pack. Frame: every shot against the direction doc. Anything that fails goes back upstream, not forward.

STAGE 06

Edit

Human editor on a real timeline. Pacing, sound design, score, and the final mix happen in-tool — not on auto-cut. The edit is what separates content from cinema.

STAGE 07

Publish

Title, thumbnail, and metadata pass the same craft bar as the video. No clickbait, no false-promise frames. Distribution is tracked and the results loop back into the brief for the next piece.

04 / Standards

The bar.

  1. i.

Every channel earns its own system.

Brand, voice, palette, framing — built per-channel. If two of ours could be swapped frame-for-frame, one shouldn't exist.

  2. ii.

    Imagery generated to brief.

Every frame is briefed, generated, and matched against the art-direction doc. Stock-footage thinking is a tell.

  3. iii.

A voice a writer can hear.

Every channel has a written voice spec — rhythm, vocabulary, confidence level. No model-default "in this video we'll explore."

  4. iv.

    Every claim cites its source.

Assertions are tracked from intake through the cut against a primary-source reading list. Untraceable lines don't ship.

  5. v.

Thumbnails that survive the second watch.

Title, cover, and metadata pass the same craft bar as the video. No false-promise frames, no bait.

  6. vi.

    Craft over cadence.

A higher bar at a sustainable pace. We'd rather miss a week than ship one we wouldn't sign.
